Hina Khan Is Gushing Over This Delicious Kashmiri Baingan Curry


Actress Hina Khan has left us drooling with a picture of her hearty meal, which she shared on Instagram Stories. The actress, who was born in Srinagar, gave us a glimpse of her traditional Kashmiri-style eggplant dish. Trust us when we say, a look at the yummy dish will leave you aching with hunger for sure! Hina shared the picture along with a caption explaining what the dish was. She wrote, “Kashmiri style doodh waale baingan (yoghurt eggplant).” She also added the traditional Kashmiri name of the dish in her caption — “Doodh waangan”. Are you hungry yet? This traditional vegetarian dish is very flavourful and is made with a yogurt-based grave spiced delicately with cardamom. The eggplant is roasted rather than deep-fried. The dish is served with hot naan.
