Latest updates: Manipur government announces total curfew for 10 days from July 18

Goa reported 126 fresh infections, one mortality, and 134 recoveries, taking the active caseload to 1,779 over the last 24 hours. The case positivity rate dropped to 3% on Thursday as against 4% on Wednesday. The toll rose to 3,103 with one death. A 90-year-old man from Ponda died at South Goa district hospital after two days of treatment. While Goa’s weekly case positivity rate has been below 5%, state epidemiologist Dr Utkarsh Betodkar said people need to be more careful as curfew conditions are relaxed.
