Mumbai News LIVE: No COVID-19 vaccination for Mumbaikars today due to vaccine shortage, says BMC

Due to shortage of COVID-19 vaccines, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced that there would be no COVID-19 vaccination drive in the city today. The BMC is expecting to receive doses on Thursday in which case vaccination will resume on Friday. Vaccination in private hospitals is likely to be unaffected as they have their independent schedules and are securing doses on their own. Meanwhile, Mumbai on Wednesday recorded 925 new covid-19 cases, taking the cumulative total to 7,08,007. Also, 31 fatalities were reported, pushing the toll to 14,938.
