New recruiters line up at IIM Rohtak with offers for the Batch of 2019-2021


There is a sharp increase in the number of more new recruiters queueing up at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak with job offers for the batch of 2021. “This year witnessed a 75% increase in the participation of new companies,” the institute stated in a release.

The institute has completed the final placement process for the batch of 2021 with 100% placements. Regular recruiters like Deloitte, Indus Valley Partners, Bain Capability Network, Tata Steel, NatWest Group, Capgemini, and Cognizant, among others, also participated in the recruitment drive. Some of the new recruiters include companies like Xiaomi, GamaSec, Diaspark, Phable, Genpact, ZS Associates, and Mindtree, according to the institute’s release.

This year also witnessed a good number of pre-placement offers (PPOs) being given by various top recruiters. Over all, more than 100 companies participated in the placement process this year, according to a release issued by the IIM.

“The year 2020-21 was full of uncertainties but our student placement committee worked hard and received strong facilitation from the institute. The unwavering support of our loyal recruiters and participation of several new companies in our placement process has helped us culminate our placement activities for this year well in time,” said Dheeraj Sharma, Director, IIM Rohtak.

Consulting, sales & marketing and finance were the most sought-after domains. In the PGP batch, the institute has over 70% of the female students and 50% students being non-engineers. 39% of all the offers made were in the marketing domain. Some of the prominent recruiters included ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, , AuthBridge, Diaspark, and Blackhawk.
