For mobile oxygen delivery at home, the authority has released the names and mobile numbers of four employees from whom these cylinders and oxygen concentrators can be procured at home

NOIDA: Noida authority, which had made provisions for a mobile oxygen bank whereby a 5 litre oxygen concentrator/cylinder can be delivered at home as well as was operating oxygen cylinder banks at community centres at 10 locations, had till Tuesday provided 141 oxygen cylinders and 23 oxygen concentrators to patients in home isolation.
Also, from its oxygen refilling centres at sector 93B and sector 135, the authority has refilled 1218 cylinders from a total of 1245 that were provided from May 3-17. Remaining 27 cylinders are in the process of being refilled.
For mobile oxygen delivery at home, the authority has released the names and mobile numbers of four employees from whom these cylinders and oxygen concentrators can be procured at home. These include AK Jain – 9205691612, Pradeep Kumar – 9205691763, Rohit Singh – 9205691601 and Rajesh Kumar – 9582793787. The 10 locations where Authority is providing oxygen cylinders include community centres in sectors 34, 62, 51, 135, villages Morna near sector 35, Parthala, Kakrala and Shahdara in Bisrakh block, Jhundpura in sector 11 and Jhatta in Dankaur.
While for small cylinders Rs 2,500 security deposit is required followed by Rs 200 for gas refill, for big cylinders, the security deposit is Rs 5,000 and Rs 500 for gas refill. For oxygen concentrators, the security deposit is Rs 7,500 and no other charges.
Apart from that, authentic documents are required to be presented. These include originals of Pan/Aadhaar card for oxygen concentrators and a doctor’s prescription for oxygen cylinders requirement.
On Tuesday, Microsoft India R&D Pvt Ltd provided 125 oxygen concentrators of 5 litre capacity from its CSR fund to Noida Authority. The concentrators will be utilised to increase oxygen beds in hospitals in the district as well as medical facilities in rural areas of the district with the help of district administration and health department.
